Meet Zea

My name is Zea, it’s my second name, and I prefer using it for anonymity as well. I used to blog before revealing my whole identity, and it didn’t go well, especially for my privacy and safety. I shared a lot of honest and random thoughts that go round and round in my head, and writing them down in my journal and sharing them on this blog is my way to declutter and get it all out.

I enjoy writing and I dreamed to be a book author one day but I don’t know if I really do have passion for it, but for now, I’m enjoying sharing my stories, experiences, and observations in life. It might be a positive or, sometimes, a rant that I just want to share, so bear with me because reading my posts is like listening to a talkative friend with opinions and a point of view that can’t keep quiet.

About the blog

I started this blog way back in 2016 on the Blogger platform and met a lot of people we still follow on Instagram. Some of them grew their blog and are earning now, which inspires me to blog again, not because I can earn from it, but the consistency and memories you can look back on.

I didn’t post consistently, but my old posts are still with me. I decided to rebrand my personal brand for privacy reasons. I read a lot of posts and articles about ghost writing or using pseudonyms. Example, MyStoryBlog and Life in Manila, haha, but I still prefer to use my not-so-used second name, and I know I can still blog freely with it.

Getting into reading..

I’m very picky about books that I want to read. Most of the time, I enjoy thrillers, psychological books, and Japanese books. I read a lot of self-help books, but I get tired and sleepy of them. The content is helpful, but I want something different that I can still learn from, with a twist to the storyline. I’m weird most of the time, but I am open to book suggestions that offer good learning for self-improvement, and I enjoy reading.
